Flow and Release, A donation based class for Mary's Place // Dec. 7th
Flow + Release: A Donation-Based Vinyasa Yoga + Myofascial Release Class Supporting Mary’s Place
Join us for a special Vinyasa + Myofascial Release (MFR) yoga class on Saturday, December 7th, from 10:00–11:15 a.m., led by Vivian in collaboration with Nancy Lea, one of our amazing teachers. This is our second year partnering to raise vital funds for Mary’s Place, an organization making a profound difference in the lives of families experiencing homelessness.
What is Mary’s Place?
Mary’s Place provides shelter, resources, and hope to women, children, and families in need, empowering them to rebuild their lives. Your participation in this workshop directly supports their incredible mission, as 100% of the proceeds from this class will be donated to Mary’s Place.
Class Highlights:
Style: A 75-minute blend of dynamic Vinyasa flow and Myofascial Release techniques.
Date & Time: Saturday, December 7th, 10:00–11:15 a.m.
Sliding Scale Donation: $30, $40, or $50 (pay what you can). *If you’d like to give more or would like to change your donation, you may do so when you arrive at the studio on the day of or before.
Post-Class Connection: Enjoy tea and a casual conversation about how combining MFR with Vinyasa can enhance your yoga practice and overall well-being.
Why Vinyasa + MFR?
This dynamic class combines the fluid movements of Vinyasa yoga with the targeted release techniques of Myofascial Release (MFR). The Vinyasa portion focuses on synchronizing breath with movement, flowing through poses that enhance flexibility, strength, and balance while targeting specific areas such as the hips, shoulders, spine, and legs.
The MFR segment uses therapy balls to apply gentle pressure to key trigger points, releasing tension and improving mobility in muscles and connective tissues. This part of the practice often targets tight areas like the back, hamstrings, calves, or chest, depending on the day’s focus. Together, Vinyasa and MFR create a well-rounded practice that supports recovery, enhances performance, and promotes overall physical and mental well-being.
Reserve Your Spot
Space is limited, so don’t wait to secure your place! Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or trying MFR for the first time, this is an opportunity to care for yourself while giving back to the community.
Let’s flow together, release tension, and support a great cause. We can’t wait to see you on the mat!
