The Ritual of Writing: Journaling, Yin & Yoga Nidra
Sunday, June 2nd // 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Join yoga teachers Shawna Krueger and Katie McAuliffe for an immersive journaling and mindfulness ritual to reset for the new season. This 90-minute workshop includes 30 minutes of guided journaling followed by an hour of candlelit yin yoga and yoga nidra meditation to support your intentions. You’ll close out the workshop with a nourishing community tea circle.
All workshop participants will receive a free hardcover copy of Shawna and Katie’s one-year guided journal, The Ritual of Writing.
The Practice Journaling - Writing is a mindful experience that helps you ground yourself in the present moment, reflect on your thoughts and feelings, and set mindful intentions. If you’ve always wanted to start a journaling habit, this practice will get you started.
Please bring a pen for this session, and you're welcome to bring your own journal (optional).
Yin Yoga - This practice involves passive, long-held poses to help you slow down and find stillness. You’ll explore poses to help you release tension and connect to your emotions.
Yoga Nidra - This powerful style of guided meditation will bring you to a state of deep consciousness where you can release stress and visualize your intentions.
